Project Description:
The Center for Community Economic Development and Disability is an affiliate organization of the School of Community Economic Development at Southern NH University and is a member of the UNH-Insitute on Disability/UCED. The purpose of the Center is to leverage community economic development infrastructure in the state of NH and around the country to support the economic needs and interests represented and advocated by people with disabilities. The purpose of this UCED supported project is to develop the capacity among CED practitioners, academia, advocacy organizations, and community organizations such that individuals with disabilities have the opportunity to make substantial gains in social and economic justice through the promotion of planning, policy, applied research, best practice via employing CED practicies and strategies.
