Project Description:
The KUCR, through its Life Span Institute, has the staff, skills, and expertise to build the 2015 APBS Conference web pages and maintain the current overall APBS Website. Thus, the KUCR, through its Life Span Institute, will perform the service as outlined below: Coordinate and post announcements related to the 2015 Conference in a timely manner. Update information on all APBS web pages as requested by the APBS Executive Board. Connect outside links to the APBS website as requested by the APBS Executive Board. Proactively perform periodic checks of all internal and external links to sustain easy navigation throughout the web pages. Report quarterly on website statistics and activities completed (3 reports) and assist the APBS Board Members in Writing the Annual report. Ensure server hosting fees and domain name fees are paid throughout the duration of the year. Collaborate with all APBS work groups and committees to increase website content, including the development of individual web pages for each committee. Continue to update archival organizational systems for the password protected Board Member section. Work with the Website and Conference Committees to propose and pilot social media activities (e.g. create policies and procedures for posting on Facebook, recommend types of content to be posted, etc.). Work with the Conference Committee to propose a way to finish the major changes to the website that were started last year (2013-2014) (this will be presented to the Board at the March Conference 2015).
