Project Description:
A UIC Lead Trainer will work with SABE (Self Advocates Becoming Empowered) and the NTAC (National Technical Assistance Center) on Voting and Cognitive Access to participate on bi-monthly VOTE team conference calls and one in-person team meeting, teach 3 distance learning trainings for P&As and self advocacy groups to learn how to use the Project Vote Toolkit, maintain website and the Project Vote Facebook pages, participate on weekly conference calls with NDRN and P&As as requested, assist with the development, implementation, and evaluation of polling places experiences of voters with disabilities, provide training and technical assistance to PAs on NTAC training materials and products, and assist NTAC on Voting and Cognitive Access with marketing and dissemination of Voter Education training materials, changes in policies, and new resources.
