Project Description:
Scope of Work for the IDHD Family Clinic: 1) Provide inter-disciplinary diagnostic services for individuals age 3 through adults who live in the Chicago and adjoining Cook County area and who have or are suspected of having a developmental disability, including autism. 2) Provide Behavioral Intervention and Treatment Services to Individuals with challenging behaviors and dual diagnosis and to their families. Focus on expanding services in targeted behavioral areas. 3) Provide community education and training to people with disabilities, families, and professionals in the metro-Chicago area and expand state-wide offerings. 4) Provide state of the art clinical training for graduate students and residents interested in working in the disability field. 5) Engage in Quality improvement strategies to examine Family Clinic operations and improve the efficiency and quality of services provided.
