Project Description:
This Nebraska Department of Education funded project has the following objectives: 1.To have at least 40 trained family members of children with disabilities under the age of 12 enabled to step into and/or enhance their involvement in early childhood systems, supports and services within their region 2. To develop participant's skills in order to enable them to support other families in their region with young children with disabilities to access and benefit from supports and services. 3. To support family capacity to enable children with disabilities to lead fulfilling, productive lives and have the opportunity to reach their individual potential. 4. To provide ongoing support to trainees in the completion of their leadership goals and insure successful outcomes.
