Project Description:
This program will develop an extensive research program for investigating strategies which will enhance the capacity of state systems (public Vocational Rehabilitation, Departments of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities, Mental Health and Divisions of Employment Security--One Stop Career Centers) in identifying effective and promising practices in increasing the employment of person with disabilities. The collaborating partners in this application include the Center on Disability Policy at George Washington University, the Institute for Community Integration at the University of Minnesota, the Washington Business Group on Health and the New England Council.
