Project Description:

The Virginia Paraprofessional Early Childhood Training Project was initiated July 1, 2010 at the Partnership for People with Disabilities at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). The Partnership collaborated with the Virginia Community College System (VCCS) over the past four years to supplement six core courses offered through the early childhood community college program to prepare paraprofessionals to work with young children with disabilities and their families in a variety of early childhood settings.
