Project Description:

The Hartford would like to support the KUCDD in its ongoing activities. Given Hartfords presence in the disability marketplace, KUCDD will partner with the Harford in developing White Papers on topics of interest for Hartford, disseminating information on research-based knowledge present within the KUCDD pertaining to self-determination, strengths-based approaches to disability, identity development, and personal abilities. This information will be shared through conference presentations that may include the Hartford commenting on trends and implications for those with disabilities and the work we are doing in the marketplace to support the ability aspects of the Harford program. Based on these white papers and presentations, it may lead to other media and/or research opportunities.
