Project Description:

The project will offer a two-week workshop, which explores various services for individuals with developmental disabilities in Illinois, for professionals visiting from Japan. An overall goal of this workshop is to assist them in understanding the historical development and current status of intellectual and developmental disabilities services in Illinois as well as in the United States. Particular attention will be given to introduce a variety of community-cased services available for adults and children with disabilities and their families in Illinois.
