Project Description:
BrainWorks is a customized self-employment model to assist individuals with brain injury in business ownership. It was developed through a participatory action research process, which included tow entrepreneurs who experienced brain injury. Currently, a total of 12 participants are actively involved with BrainWorks, of which nine have launched or are close to launching their businesses. In order to continue supporting systems change, Trust funding will allow BrainWorks to serve current participants and recruit three new participants for a total of 15 active participants.
