Project Description:
Early Identification of and Referrals to Early Intervention Services for Autism and Other Developmental Delays: Providing developmental screening through an FQHC is a First 5 Los Angeles funded project that will provide TA to AltaMed Health Corporation the largest FQHC in the country. This project will bring standardized developmental screening tools (ASQ and M-CHAT) to be implemented into their EMR system. TA will be provided to the AltaMed Physician Network that serves 150,000 families annually through required CME participation on an overview of developmental screening, importance of screening in the medical office, tools used in screening and what to do after a positive screen.
