Project Description:
The Permanency and Adoption Competency Certificate serves mental health and social work professionals in urban and rural areas of Minnesota. The PACC is offered by the Center for Advanced Studies in Child Welfare (CASCW) through our professional education programing. The PACC features the Training on Adoption Competency (TAC) curriculum developed by Center for Adoption Support and Education (CASE) with additional modules on understanding the child welfare process and the Indian Child Welfare Act developed by CASCW. The PACC program, as well as the TAC curriculum, is being rigorously evaluated. CASCW is working collaboratively with PolicyWorks, Ltd., an independent research and evaluation organization affiliated with the TAC curriculum.
