Project Description:
Fetal alcohol syndrome and alcohol related neurodevelopmental disabilities are often undiagnosed, yet are the largest cause of known preventable intellectual disabilities. This project trains health professionals and others to be able to screen, diagnose, and intervene with FASDs. The UCEDD heads the state team and is a part of the center that serves 17 states.
