Project Description:
Trainings are provided across the state in order to foster increased family participation on local and state early intervention interagency planning teams. There has been a demonstrated lack of family involvement which is required by law. The goal is to train at least 50 eligible caregivers in at a minimum 2 training sessions. The focus is on ways caregivers can impact team activities and communication skills. The expected outcome is family representation to expected levels (20% of membership) on teams.
