Victimization of Persons with Disabilities
Project Description:
Individuals with disabilities are disproportionately represented in the population of those who have been victims of crime. This project focuses on the intersection of domestic violence and disability, and is exploring the readiness of systems in Delaware to respond effectively to the needs of victims of domestic violence who also have disabilities. An expansive needs assessment will be followed by the development of a strategic plan. Partners are NAMI DE and the DE Coalition Against Domestic Violence.
