Project Description:
The National Center on Inclusive Education at the University of New Hampshire's (UNH) Institute on Disability (IOD) is helping to lead the development of schools where students of all abilities can learn successfully. From its founding in 1987, the IOD has been breaking down barriers to inclusion and guiding educators, parents, and school leaders in the development of better classrooms that improve outcomes for all students. The IOD's National Center for Inclusive Education combines the best of what is known about supporting educators and families in creating inclusive schools, and serves as a laboratory for building new ways to support and promote inclusion in schools and communities.
