Assistive Technology: Commission for the Blind and Visually Handicapped (CBVH) Loan Program

Project Description:

The purpose of this program is to support services to individuals who are legally blind through an established Equipment Loan Closet (ELC). ELCs provide adaptive technology to meet the needs of the Commission for the Blind and Visually Handicapped (CBVH)consumers who are participating in vocational rehabilitation services such as training (including on-site work experiences), education (including GED), or employment (including job search). The adaptive equipment is loaned on a short term basis, free of charge to the CBVH consumer.
