Project Description:
This is part of a multi-center NIH grant project funded through the University of Illinois at Chicago. The purpose of the project is to collect age-related performance norms from infants aged 34 weeks post-conceptual age to 17 weeks post term on the new Test of Infant Motor Performance. Munroe-Meyer Institute is one of 12 sites nationwide that is collaborating on this project Once this normative data is collected, the Test of Infant Motor Performance may be used by PT's, OT's and others to assist in identifying infants whose motor performance is below age-related standards.
