2013

Project Description:
The Pennsylvania ILLC brings together the strengths of well-established LEND and UCEDD programs across the state and has the potential to impact large numbers of faculty and trainees throughout the state. Each program has a well-established mission and program to train interdisciplinary leaders, and will be well-suited to the Interprofessional Leadership Consortium training. Implementation of the UNC curriculum will be tailored to each site, but cross-center training opportunities will be fostered by quarterly phone conferences and two conferences during the 2012-2013 year. The conferences will foster communication and collaboration between the traveling and home teams from each site. Local implementation of the curriculum is supported by experienced faculty at each site and monthly faculty trainings. Evaluation of the effectiveness and fidelity of the UNC curriculum implementation at each site will be assessed at two time points during the year. Support for the creation of ILPs and a leadership track at each site will be enriched by ongoing collaborative training opportunities. Successful collaboration will provide a springboard for future projects and grants with shared common goals of strengthening leadership training.
