Project Description:

Contract to analyze data and generate a report regarding the experience of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and their families in seeking and obtaining health care services. Tasks will include identifying national recommendations for the general population regarding access to routine medical care recommended for the general population including health screenings and treatment for specific medical conditions; analyzing information collected during 117 interviews with individuals with ASD and/or their families; identifying themes within interviews;and identifying any similarities or disparities between the experiences of the general population and the experiences reported during the interviews. A comprehensive report will be developed that compiles the findings of the above analysis.
