Project Description:
In collaboration with numerous state team partners and the Children's LEND program, the Shriver Center LEND/UCEDD takes a key leadership role in convening the Massachusetts Act Early state team, in conjunction with the national effort via AUCD, AMCHP and the CDC. The summit was held on November 14 at the Shriver Center in Waltham MA and is actively developing an organized network of key stakeholders to share information and work on enhancing the effectiveness of service provision and coordination for families and children with ASD and related disabilities. The Shriver Center has been seeking sustaining funds to allow for this initiative to continue.
