Project Description:
In collaboration with the Nisonger Center at The Ohio State University as the lead agency, UC UCEDD received a grant from the Centers for Disease Control and Preventions National Center on Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities (CDC-NCBDDD) for improving the health of people with disabilities through state-based public health programs. The goal of this grant is to promote and maximize health, prevent chronic disease, improve emergency preparedness and increase the quality of life among people with disabilities. Dr. Susan Havercamp at the Nisonger Center UCEDD at OSU is the Principal Investigator and Dr. Ilka Riddle, Associate Director of the UC UCEDD, will be co-Principal Investigator on this exciting initiative. .
