Guam CEDDERS assumed primary responsibility for the design and implementation of the technical assistance and training component as specified in the approved Guam Department of Public Health and Social Services Early Childhood Mental Health System of Care "Project Karinu". The technical assistance and training component were designed to accomplish the following goals: (1) continuously assess and update the Technical Assistance and Training Plan that will address the development, implementation, and sustainment of a family driven, culturally competent early childhood system of care; (2) facilitate successful implementation of the Technical Assistance and Training Plan for Project Karinu; and (3) build training capacity in an effort to sustain the System of Care for young children and their families.
