        Project Description:
        Over 2000 people are homeless in central Arkansas on a given night.  Many of those persons have disabilities.  Partners worked with the Arkansas Supportive Housing Network to organize the Arkansas Homeless Coalition to advocate for improved services and to help coordinate agencies and individuals who are providing services.  Monthly meetings help advocates to organize and coordinate services.  Sponsor of annual conference, gift caravan during the holiday season, and awareness events throughout the year.  Advocacy activities with local government for a day resource center and with the state legislature for a housing trust fund.
