Arizona National Service Inclusion Project-Americorp
Project Description:
The federal Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) has set as a priority engaging persons with disability in national and community service. CNCS technical assistance funds have been directed at increased efforts at the national, state and local levels to bring together the national service and disability communities to learn about each other and to collaborate in addressing this issue.
The Arizona National and Community Service Inclusion project is a collaboration between the Governor's Office for Children, Youth and Families and the Institute for Human Development at Northern Arizona University. Current funds for the project come to IHD/NAU through the Governor's Office.
