Project Description:

The AzUCD has contracted with the Arizona Department of Education, Exceptional Student Services to plan, develop and implement a assistive technology statewide short term lending library. The AzUCD will manage the loan library and administer:1) managing the AT loan library, 2) collaborate with funding agency to identify hardware and software to supplement existing inventory, 3) maintain the products and updating versions as appropriate, 4) maintain collaborations with vendors and other relationships so product not available in the inventory can be borrowed from the vendors, 5) collaborate with funding agency to develop a systematic way for public education personnel to rquest borrowing of equipment, 6) work with the funding agency to monitor the success of the program, and 7) design and develop data to chart borrowing trends that influence inventory useage.
