Project Description:
Project PLAY (Positive Learning for Arkansas' Youngest) began as a pilot project and ran for 7 years. July 1, 2011 the project entered a new phase - with 5 consultants serving 5 areas of the state, including underserved rural counties. Our consultants provide assistance to child care centers in increasing the positive environment for social-emotional learning, and help staff learn to better manage problem behaviors. Partners' staff member Betsy Johnson provides reflective supervision to the 5 consultants, and serves as a training specialist for the annual consultant training and the State of Arkansas consultant certification.
