Collaboration with Jeremiah's Place Crisis Nursery
Project Description:
JeremiahÂs Place  Pittsburgh Relief Nursery is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) tax-exempt corporation dedicated to children and families. The plan is to establish a 24-hours-a-day, every day of the year, safe home for children age 5 and under so that no child will ever be left alone, ever be harmed in an unexpected moment, ever be fearful of what might happen to them. It will be a place of refuge for families in their moment of crisis and need.
LEND trainees will be collaborating with Early Childhood Partnerships to create assessments for the children and their parents who use the nursery. This information will be used to promote systemic change to provide safe and reliable care for children in Southwestern Pennsylvania.
