Project Description:
Currently, Miami has one of the largest populations of disabled people in the United States and there is a dearth of available resources addressing their comprehensive needs. Information is segregated through various agencies but for individuals who may be mobility limited, obtaining a complete gathering of important resources can be difficult. ACCESS Miami is a comprehensive resource guide for people with physical and sensory disabilities. Over 40 businesses and agencies met selection criteria and the comprehensive guide was divided into 16 categories, including arts, education, wheelchair rentals, employment, equipment, home modification and on-line resources.
