        Project Description:
        The Delaware School Climate Surveys were developed by staff from the DE-PBS Project under the leadership of the projects's faculty partner from University of Delaware's School of Education.  The DSCS include Student, Teacher/Staff, and Home formats which allows for input from key stakeholders and comparison of results across informants.  Each survey consists of subscales measuring important dimensions of school climate.  Research strongly supports the validity and reliability of the surveys and each of the subscales include on the survey is grounded in research and theory as to its importance in academic achievement and social and emotional development.  The survey is offered to schools statewide, both those implementing DE-PBS and those who are not.  The surveys are used in over 70% of Delaware schools.
