Project Description:
This project involves characterizing children with autism spectrum disorders based on their cholesterol levels, as well as a clinical trial examining the effectiveness of cholesterol supplementation in children with ASD and low cholesterol. This project is a double-blind, placebo-controlled, multi-site study. It also includes an open-label component.
