Project Description:
The Utah State Office of Education and TAESE will partner in planning and implementing the Utah Special Education Law Conference. The conference provides the latest information on IDEA regulations, requirements for school districts, and addresses State Performance Plan Indicators.
The following are general activities that will be conducted in collaboration with USOE:
A. Special Education Law Conference
1. Conduct face to face planning meets with USOE staff.
2. Contact presenters, collect materials, arrange travel, and provide payment.
3. Secure the conference meeting space, work with conference staff.
4. Prepare conference materials and deliver to Conference Center.
5. Develop and manage registration website.
6. Provide on-site registration and conference assistance.
7. Evaluate the conference and provide a report to the USOE.
