Center:
Fiscal Year:
2012
Contact Information:
Project Description:
Goal: Describe state policy and practice that have addressed the reform or elimination of subminimum wage for people with disabilities Approach: Project staff will develop a summary of current minimum wage law across the 50 states, including state specific experiences with changes in subminimum wage policy where appropriate. Because it is anticipated that state initiatives in this area will be limited, this information will be supplemented with a summary of related initiatives in British Columbia, Canada and a new initiative in New Zealand. A review of research and policy analysis related to minimum wage and subminimum wage policy will be conducted.
