Act Early Regional Summit -- Region I
Project Description:
In collaboration with numerous state team partners and the Children's LEND program, the Shriver Center LEND/UCEDD took a key leadership role in convening the Region I Act Early Regional Summit on autism, in conjunction with the national effort via AUCD and the CDC. The summit was in held on April 26-27 in Providence, RI and was the first step toward developing an organized network of key stakeholders to share information and work on enhancing the effectiveness of service provision and coordination for families and children with ASD and related disabilities. The Shriver Center will be applying for follow-up funds to allow for this initiative to continue.
