Project Description:
The primary goal of the Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders is to improve the lives of children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and their families by: (a) providing comprehensive, state-of-the-art clinical services; (b) advancing knowledge about the causes of and treatments for ASD through systematic research; and (c) disseminating information about effective assessment and treatment through education, professional training, and consultation.
The Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders will provide a continuum of clinical services that will include state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment programs. A primary focus of the center will be to integrate these clinical programs with research in ways that directly improve our understanding of and ability to treat ASD.
