Project Description:
Two state senators directed state discretionary funds to the UCEDD to be used to provide funding for a legislative task force on sickle cell disease and for education about sickle cell disease. Partners staff members conduct training in various locations around the state. These funds are also used to develop services that are deemed necessary by the legislative task force.
