Project Description:

Children with severe communication disorders often need augmentative or assistive communication (AAC) devices to communicate. Currently, there is great variability in how these devices are prescribed and used. There is minimal collaboration between school personnel, families, and health providers regarding AAC. This project will use the framework from the International Classification of Functioning Disability and Health to guide educational recommendations for children and young adults who use AAC.
