PHARM -- Explorations of Neurofeedback Issues in ADHD

Center:
Fiscal Year:
2011
Contact Information:
Project Description:
This study will look at the use of neurofeedback in 36 children with ADHD. Neurofeedback will be administered by having children play video games with equipment that responds to their brain wave levels. This is an important study as it has the possibility to help children with ADHD without the use of medication. This funding is for the end of a multi-year project, as well as data analysis and publication preparation. It does not reflect the full funding of the neurofeedback project, which was $607,499 over 4 years (the bulk of which funded the first two years, in which the majority of the trial of neurofeedback was conducted).
