The Use of the Internet by Teens with Spina Bifida
Project Description:
Internet usage has changed the way individuals obtain information, including health care information. High percentages of adolescents and young adults use the Internet; less is known as to it use by adolescents with spina bifida. We are interested in learning about the Internet usage of 120 adolescents with spina bifida, ages 14 to 18 years. If a significant percentages of adolescents with spina bifida who are included in this sample indicate Internet usage, then its application as a outreach tool for education and transition planning could be further explored in future studies. Data will be reported as percentages and frequency distributions
