Project Description:
New England INDEX provides information technology for the Family Support 360 grant awarded to the Massachusetts Department of Mental Retardation by the Administration on Developmental Disabilities (ADD). The grant will be used to develop a model one-stop family support center in Springfield which will serve underserved families in Empowerment Zones. INDEX will develop the information system which will be based on the one currently used to support the Massachusetts Network of Information Providers for People with Disabilities (MNIP) (see MNIP project). Collaborating partners include community and city agencies.
