Project Description:
The Oklahoma Family Support 360 Project was formerly a Project of National Significance in Family Support through the Administration on Developmental Disabilities. Currently being funded through the OKDHS DDSD and located on the University of OK Medical Center campus, the project?s purpose is to provide 360 degrees of services to families whose children have developmental disabilities and are eligible for Medicaid. The project connects families with eligible community, State, and healthcare resources based on the families? needs. The 360 Center also provides training for families and pediatric residents in the Medical Home approach, Family Support Principles, Person-Centered-Thinking as well as many other training programs and methods. The Center for Learning and Leadership (Oklahoma's UCEDD), the OU Child Study Center, and the Community Pediatrics Section of the Department of Pediatrics closely collaborate to ensure success of the 360 Center and the families it serves.
