Project Description:
The California DDNP leverage our individual agency strengths and resources to promote systemic change to benefit Californians with D/OD in several areas, including training and promotion of high quality early intervention services, seclusion and restraint regulations, post-secondary education opportunities, employment legislation, inclusive living arrangements, access to healthcare, and addressing disparities in health outcomes based on race, ethnicity and language. The DDNP has developed a strategic plan for joint projects. The three UCEDDs work closely together and support each other?s projects in order to maximally leverage resources and avoid duplication.
