Project Description:
The Meyerson Foundation has awarded the AzUCD funds to support three seperate training projects. The first project is a matching program in which the Foundation provides matching funds that state departments match at different levels to support trainees in Assistive Technology and the Positive Behavior Supports. The second project supports 4 engineering senior design and service learning projects that focus on issues that persons with disabilities or who are elderly face. The third project is designed to be a resource for children and families who are in need of getting assistance in assistive technology but do not have a funding source (i.e children with special health care needs or ALS clients).
