Project Description:

This project will provide training, technical assistance, and coaching to programs in the development, implementation, and evaluation of a program wide model of behavior support for young children within community early childhood programs in Hillsborough County. The goal of the project will be to assist programs in adopting, implementing, and sustaining a systematic approach to promoting young children's social competence and addressing challenging behavior. The program wide PBS approach focuses on building the capacity of families and educational staff in promoting the social and emotional development and school readiness of children in early education programs.
