Project Description:
This project is funded to build the capacity of training and technical assistance providers to support early childhood and Head Start programs to promote young children's social and emotional competence and address challenging behavior. The program has developed training materials that are available for free for download from the web site and has providing capacity building trainings to Head Start regional staff and States engaged in strategic planning. The project has resulted in the development of a conceptual model for prevention, promotion, and intervention that is inclusive of young children with all types of social emotional and behavioral support needs.
