Project Description:
The Florida National Children's Study Center at the University of Miami is part of the national project. The Florida NCS Center includes 4 counties: Miami-Dade, Baker, Hillsborough, and Orange. Dr. Steven Lipshultz is the PI for the Center, Dr. Armstrong is the PI for the Miami-Dade Location. The project will screen 12,000 women of child-bearing age in each county, and ultimately enroll 1000 babies for a 25 year follow-up. Current activities include participation in the autism and obesity collaborative projects.
