Disability Consultation related to the Exceptional Family Program of Vandenberg AFB
Project Description:
The purpose of this one-year contract is to provide disability consultation and technical assistance to the Airman and Family Readiness Center(AFRC) of Vandenberg Air Force Base, Lompoc, CA, to address expected expansion of their family support programs for military families eligible for the Exceptional Family Member Program, somewhat stimulated by the Year of the Air Force Family.
AFRC organized an EFMP Task Force consistent of key stakeholder at VAFB involved in identifying eligibility for EFMP, enrolling eligible members, and providing and coordinating services (military and civilian). Consultation and TA was provided to the Task Force as well as AFRC which convened the Task Force under the Wing Vice Commander.
