The Cost of Serving Infants and Toddlers in Hawaii under Part C

Center:
Fiscal Year:
2010
Contact Information:
Project Description:
The CDS was asked by the Part C program and the Hawaii Early Intervention Coordinating to undertake a study of the cost of providing early intervention services to infants and toddlers. Because the Part C program was facing a critical budget short-fall, this study was undertaken at no cost to the Part C program. The study became the largest and most comprehensive study to date of the cost of providing early intervention services. The study is being presented during an AUCD webinar on June 28. It has been presented widely and is scheduled for additional presentations over the next year.
