Survey of Independent Living for People with Disabilities

Project Description:

ACTIVITIES: In conjunction with the HSD Project officer, develop alternate forms of the core survey instrument: (a) a paper version: (b) an online version: and (c) instructions for individuals assisting respondents to complete the survey. Pilot test base survey with convenience sample of persons with multiple types of physical and cognitive disabilities and revise survey based on results of pilot. Prepare application to UNM Health Sciences Center Institutional Review Board (IRB) for protection of human subjects. In conjunction with the HSD project officer and others designated by her, disseminate the survey at locations to be determined using the versions developed in #1 above. Enter data on surveys
