Barriers to Employment amoung African American SSI recipients

Project Description:

The goal of the project is to identify the employment concerns of African Americans with disabilities that are engaged in the employment seeking process. The project will also attempt to validate findings from a recent qualitative study conducted by the authors, assess the level of concern amoung this population regarding barriers cited in the existing literature, and examine differences across disability categories.
